Parrots, monkeys, crocodiles, these are minority beautiful creatures that inhabit Costa Rica. The wild life here is dedicated to singing and dancing. To watch these birds and animals is an exciting experience. This small American country boasts many nature reserves and parks.
They are home to 5% of the world's living organisms. Costa Rica is in Central America. The capital is San Jose International Airport. You can reach any part of the country by bus, small plane. But best to travel with big car. January is during the dry season and average temperatures in San Jose are from 14 to 24 degrees.
In the higher parts of the forest Monteverde forest is covered with fog. Indeed in a different world. Much of the forests are located on white, black and brown sands. Sands on these turtles leave their precious eggs. So err wildcats and jaguars passing. The ridges of the mountains there are many volcanoes. Arenal Volcano lava discharged almost every day. You can go by car to the ridges and Irazu Paos to see the fiery craters. The highest mountain in Costa Rica called Cerro Chiripo. There is also magnificent reserve Talamanca Range. Mount induce tourists to climb to the top and. There is a plateau from which a panoramic view. Most visitors prefer activities which increase adrenaline. By riding on ATVs, horseback riding, rafting in the wild waters of the rivers and Pakuare Reventazon. This is a way to immerse yourself in nature. Costa Rica will inspire you, whatever way you choose to explore the country. Costa Rica is an ideal place to study the American tropics, because there are many parks, gardens and landscapes.
Ten days in the rainforest
Day-1
Explore the museum of pre-Columbian gold period in San Jose, to feel a sense of ancient history in the country. Later visit the National Theatre, to admire the first architectural gem of Costa Rica.
Day-2
Book a night trip with a morning flight to the national park "Tortugero." Boat trip and tour guarantees you exceptional views of wildlife. You will see caimans, screaming monkeys, and great green macaws. Then you will go by boat to San Jose.
Day-3
Hire a car and drive to La Fortuna, a small town at the foot of Arenal Volcano. Also you can try rafting or air trolley.
Day-4
Go Cordillera Central to arrive in Monteverde. Known reserves of forests that were shrouded in clouds. In the afternoon visit Selvatura to see the impressive collection of insects of Wheaton.
Day-5
Hire a local guide to accompany you as you walk through the reserve forest shrouded in clouds. There is also an opportunity to ride or visit the terrarium.
Day 6-8
Once off the mountain, visit the local village of pottery-Guatil Timarindo-and a little riding and fishing.
Day 9-10
Back in San Jose and book a flight to a place in the national park "Corcovado" for viewing wildlife in the rainforest.
Tips
  • Watch you walk the path to not step on a snake.
  • Do not miss the wild. Hire a professional guide or join a tour. While you talk about local nature, local leaders can tell you many more birds and animals than they could see.
  • Use mosquito repellent. Long sleeves and pants could also be a wise decision to protect against insects.
